MEPs criticise EU's handling of flu pandemic
When the H1N1 strain of influenza was identified a few years ago experts believed that it could be the cause of a global pandemic, but the impact of the virus was much less severe than expected. Belgian EPP member Anne Delvaux has organised a hearing to look at the ways the pandemic threat was handled across the EU.
