14th Annual Inter-religious Dialogue in Hungary

Following its open dialogue tradition between politicians and religious representatives, the EPP Group will gather in Esztergom (Hungary) from 9 to 11 November to debate the roles and activities of churches and religions in the Danube region.

As the goal of this conference is deepening mutual understanding and cooperation between politicians and religious leaders, topics will include church identity, church and state relationships, the presence of religion in the media as well as the social market economy, the financial crisis and social teaching issues.

Among the numerous notable speakers will be distinguished delegates from churches, EPP Group MEPs, representatives of the Hungarian Government and high-level state official from several countries.
