EU Citizenship Report 2013: have your say, your voice counts! Simon Busuttil MEP and Peter Jahr MEP

BUSUTTIL, SimonJAHR, PeterAhead of the European Year for Citizens (2013), the European Commision is running a public consultation exercise, asking us about our obstacles in exercising our rights as EU citizens, be it when travelling in Europe, when voting or standing as candidates in elections or when shopping online.

MEPs Simon Busuttil and Peter Jahr are urging us to make our voices heard. "Does Europe mean more work for you? Or less? Are you happy with the Euro in your pocket? What has the Euro brought to your life? Stability or chaos? What's bothering you when travelling in Europe? Do you trust online shopping? Is Europe helping your country on migration? What's your take on the European Parliament? Think aloud, let your ideas flow. Write them down", said MEPs Simon Busuttil and Peter Jahr.

This is the biggest ever EU public consultation on citizens' rights and will run until 9 September 2012. The European Commision will then draw up the 2013 EU Citizenship Report based on the input received from the public. The report will be presented on 9 May 2013.

You can post your ideas on the website Have your say!
